When a tank is referred to as a 'DTL' type or style it means put simply, you inhale using the 'Direct To Lung' method. This method of inhale must be used with DTL type tanks due to the fact 'most' incorporate larger style coil heads capable of running at high wattage output, thus requiring more airflow to reduce heat around the base of the tank internally.

If you prefer to operate your device/setup at lower wattage outputs (below 30-40W) then we'd recommend the use of a 'MTL' or Mouth To Lung designed tank instead.
